Climate Change Is Not A Concern

Climate Change Is Not A Concern

Today, I  would like to talk to you about why I feel climate change is not a concern. Today in the media many famous people like Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio are trying to convince people the  need to change the way they live because our earth is getting warmer. Many people who think climate change is real try to show us proof through a famous graph called the Hockey Stick Graph. At first the graph looks very convincing that climate change is disturbing and our earths temperature is going to rise dramatically. When you look carefully at the graph you will notice that our earth's temperature is expected to rise only 0.6 degrees Celsius in fifty years. Scientists seem to be at odds whether this is a natural occurrence like the ice age or a result of humans carbon footprint . In addition to this, 0.6 degrees is minimal.  If you were to walk into a room that was 0.6 degrees warmer you probably wouldn't know the difference.  I doubt the earth will have irreversible consequences over a 0.6 degrees increase. Finally, our earth is very adaptive , it has gone through an ice age and many other natural disasters. Advanced technology may soon change many aspects of our lives including climate change.   I think our earth can handle a 0.6 degree change in temperature and to anyone who reads this, keep living your lives the way you are and don't be concerned over such a minor change.

Global Warming is a Big Issue!

Global warming is a huge issue that we are facing today in the world. Not only is it a concern for us, but it is a concern for future generations to come. Global warming is causing the ice caps to melt and that can cause flooding at the coastlines. This can also cause the spread of disease and there will be a loss of habitat.

The ice caps are melting and that is causing serious issues for us and the habitats in the arctic area. Cities on coastlines will be flooded and people won't be able to live there anymore.

This is a picture of the world when the ice caps fully melt.

The ice caps are melting at a fast rate and the polar bears living there have no where to go. Polar bears are slowly going to go extinct because the ice they usually walk and hunt on is gone causing them to drown and starve to death.

This is a picture of the polar bears in the arctic on the small pieces of ice.
